USA Immigration Visa Information
USA welcomes people from different races, cultures and languages. Also it take necessary steps to provide
safety for all people staying there.
If you are a foreigner wishing to live permanently in USA, you must fulfill the following requirements and procedure. You will have to produce an affidavit of support from your Family member/s living in the USA if you
are immigrating on the family based or get it from the Job Provider if you are a job based immigrant, saying
tha enough fund will available for you once you arrive in USA as for your support.
For example if you are going to The USA through your relative who is a citizen of the United States, or a
relative who is a lawful permanent resident, you must go through a multi-step process.
The USCIS must approve I-130 Immigration petition of the relative, which is filed by the sponsor relative who is living in The USA along with the proof of the relationship between them. Once the USICS approved visa petition, it will send it to the Department of State's National Visa Center, where it will remain until an immigrant visa number is available.
The sponsor Must be an American Citizen or Permanent resident
Sponsor must prove that they can support Alien at 125% above the mandated poverty line, by filling out an
Affidavit of Support.
If the sponsor is a U.S. Citizen, they may petition for the following foreign national relatives to immigrate to
the U.S:A
- Husband or wife
- Unmarried child under 21 years of age
- Unmarried son or daughter over 21
- Married son or daughter of any age
- Brother or sister, if the sponsor is at least 21 years old, or
- Parent, (if the sponsor is at least 21 years old.)
If the sponsor is a lawful permanent resident, they may petition for the following foreign national relatives to
immigrate to the U.S.:
Husband or wife, or
Unmarried son or daughter of any age.
Preference will be given to Visa processing As follows.
- Unmarried, adult sons and daughters of U.S. citizens. ( 21 years of age or More)
- Spouses of lawful permanent residents, their unmarried children (under twenty-one), and the unmarried sons and daughters of lawful permanent residents.
- Married sons and daughters of U.S. Citizens.
- Brothers and sisters of adult U.S. Citizens.
