New US Immigration Plan For illegal Aliens
There will be a big change in immigration plan after White house and Lawmakers agreeing on Thursday, this will give illegal aliens who are staying in USA unlawfully. President Bush said that this is a bill where people who live here in our country will be treated without amnesty but without animosity.
As illegal aliens are requesting amnesty for them to live legally in America, there were many marches in recent years by illegal aliens regarding their status.
Newly proposed agreement may allow illegal immigrants to get a Z type visa after paying visa fees and a fine of US $5,000 and proceed to permanent residency within 8-13 years from their illegal aliens status, which could take between eight and 13 years.
Low skilled guest workers may have to go home after completing of two years. They can renew their visas twice, but they would be required to stay away for a year in between each time. If they wanted to live in the U.S. permanently, they have to apply under the point system for a limited number of green cards. Also family connections alone would no longer be enough to qualify for a green card, other than the spouses and minor children of U.S. citizens. Strict new limits would apply to U.S. citizens seeking to bring foreign born parents into the US.
